Tennis Squads

We believe we have Sydney's most successful tennis program. Not only are our tennis squads effective ways to learn technique, strategy and court craft, they are also lots of fun!

Squad time is divided between technical tuition and competitive drills giving students the opportunity to put into practice the stroke mechanics they have been taught. More advanced combination drills build winning strategies. Tournament matchplay follows each coaching session ensuring plenty of tennis for everyone.

This successful blending of matchplay, drills and coaching will assist in increasing the skills of a player at any standard in their tennis playing.

Beginner Squads

Saturday Junior Club from 9am to 10am.

Development Squads

Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm

Saturday Junior Club from 10am to 11am.

Advanced Squads

Wednesdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm,

Thursdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm 

Saturday Junior Club from 11am to 12 noon.

Tournament Squads 

Mondays from 4.15pm to 6.15pm.

Elite Squads

Fridays between 5.15pm and 6.45pm.

After School Clinics

Our afterschool clinics focus particularly on beginner and intermediate students.  Our clinic on Thursdays allows a break of 15 minutes during coaching.

Clinics are generally held as follows (on a term by term basis depending on demand):

Beginner to Intermediate Clinic

 Tuesdays from 3.30 to 4.30pm

Beginner to Intermediate Clinic

 Thursdays from 3.15 to 4.30pm

Beginner to Intermediate Clinic

 Fridays from 4 to 5pm

Saturday Morning Junior Club

Saturday morning Junior Club runs each Saturday during term time from 8am to 12 noon. Classes are graded so that students are matched with those of a similar standard. The morning program includes set play and coaching.

Adult Clinics

Adult Clinics generally run during school terms every Monday between 8.30pm and 10.30pm, every Wednesday between 8pm and 10pm and every Thursday between 8pm and 10pm. Feel free to attend one or more.  Contact Peter Betteridge for details of the current clinics.

Competition Tennis

We can arrange for teams to enter the Northern Suburbs Tennis Association Sunday morning competition.  We also often run competitions such as a breakfast competition.

Private Lessons

Individual Private lessons are available during the day on weekdays and on Sundays. Adult Group lessons are available on weeknights.

Fee Policy

All after school coaching clinics, squad training and Saturday morning junior club fees are payable in advance on a term basis. There are no refunds or credits available for missed lessons. We will endeavour to make up lessons missed by reason of your unavailability or rain, however, these must be made up within the term period in which they are incurred. If lessons are unable to be made up within the term, they are not carried through to the next term.
